Another step towards international cooperation!

Koryo University is currently implementing the “Leading Universities of International Cooperation Development Support Project” with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea and the Korea National Research Foundation.
As one of the important areas of this project, cooperation has been established with the Karakalpakstan Medical Institute on the project “Environment and Health” for 2022-2028. The main goal of the project is to develop environmental health education and research by creating a scientific, practical, and theoretical laboratory base at the institute.
On August 23-31, 2025, a delegation of professors and teachers of the Karakalpak Medical Institute visited the Republic of Korea and took an active part in a scientific seminar on environmental health at Koryo University.
Members of the delegation participated with their scientific presentations and had the opportunity to exchange experience. During the visit, they will:
🔹 Core campus of Koryo University
🔹 Sejong Environmental Laboratory
🔹 Nanjicheon Water Refining Center
🔹 Incheon Institute of Health and Environmental Research
🔹 Familiarized themselves with the activities and modern work processes of the Metropolitan Landfill Administration.
This visit became not only a source of new knowledge and experience for the staff of the Karakalpak Medical Institute, but also an important step towards further expanding the scope of international cooperation.
