DEPARTMENT OF MARKETING AND STUDENT PRACTICES
It is an independent structure of the Karakalpakstan Medical Institute and reports directly to the rector of the institute. Based on the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 431 dated October 11, 2021, the “Regulations on the Department of Marketing and Student Internship” were approved.
The activities of the Department of Marketing and Student Internship are determined by the “Law on Education”, the “National Personnel Training Program” and other regulatory documents. It is part of the multi-level structure of higher medical education, and its task is aimed at training highly qualified specialists for independent work in healthcare institutions.
Monitoring of graduates is carried out on the basis of the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 428 dated October 11, 2021.
OBJECTIVES AND FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT
Market-driven training and education prepares undergraduate, graduate, and clinical residency programs for future employment.
Creates a database of new jobs (vacancies) and employers in healthcare and other applied fields.
Forms a portfolio of orders on the availability of graduates, draws up and prepares contracts for employment. Provides employment to graduates and conducts their monitoring, maintains personal contact with them.
SamDTU distributes information about study opportunities in bachelor’s, master’s, and clinical residency programs, concludes contracts with students, and conducts explanatory work for them. In order to carry out the practice, it creates databases of leading medical clinics and concludes contracts.
