Functions and responsibilities of the dean’s office
Functions of the dean’s office:
• Carries out educational, teaching-methodical, scientific, and spiritual-educational activities;
• Management of the educational process, professional activities, and student practice;
• Manages the preparation of the lesson schedule and monitors its implementation;
• Constant monitoring of student attendance;
• Organization of control over students’ free work in subjects, assessment of their knowledge based on a rating;
• Identifying talented students and working with them, ensuring students’ participation in the competition for state scholarships named after the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibn Sina, Ibrahim Yusupov, Tolepbergen Kaipbergenov and others;
• Ensuring student participation in academic competitions;
• Conducting spiritual and educational work with students living in rented accommodation at the faculty and student dormitories;
• Monitoring of students graduating from the faculty, establishing constant communication with them;
The Dean’s main responsibilities are:
• Organization and provision of the educational process at the faculty;
• Inform students about all educational matters, organize and support them;
• To prepare orders for the department and issue all powers;
• Manage, collect, and store information related to students’ careers, as well as formalize relevant documents;
• Monitoring of the student body;
• Officially processing student certificates and presenting them to all students;
• Officially formalizing rating documents, documenting the results of student assessment, and implementing the results;
• Ensure the official registration of ratings by filling them out in the prescribed manner;
• Summarizing semester results, preparing reports, and maintaining proper flow-methodological records;
• Based on the results of the semester, students were awarded scholarships based on the decision of the scholarship commission and orders were prepared for transfer from one course to another;
• Submission of student IDs, rating sheets, and personal pages of students and postgraduates in accordance with the procedure established by the student section of the HEI
• Providing relevant instructions to students.
